Last week, we had the privilege of attending the extraordinary IEEE High Performance Extreme Computing Virtual Conference 2023, and I’m absolutely amazed with inspiration from the wealth of knowledge and groundbreaking ideas that were exchanged during the conference.  It was an incredible opportunity to connect with experts in the field of computer science and dive deep into the fascinating world behind the scenes.

Sadasivan Shankar’s session, “Energy Estimates Across Layers of Computing,” shedding light on computing’s energy implications across diverse domains.

A big shoutout to Elijah Racz, Het Mankad, Sanil Sanjay Rao, Ayappan Rajesh for demystifying complex supercomputing concepts in the 1:1 discussions .

Overall a great show and collaboration; thanks to the leaders Albert Reuther, Jeremy Kepner, and the entire team of organizers, presenters, and participants. Your dedication to advancing the field is truly commendable.  And a special thanks to Prof. David R. Martinez for encouraging us to attend these sessions.
